Oh my God! I was surprised reading a new article about a Pinoy Fashion Designer, Boyet Fajardo. I can’t believe he was too proud to disrespect people working at the Duty Free Philippines just because he was asked to comply with Standard Procedures of the said company.
Bad, Bad, Boyet…
According to local news website ABS-CBN.com, he became furious and started abusing the employees at the Duty Free Shop when the cashier asked him for an ID to verify unsigned credit card.
He started yelling at the cashier and the manager that approached them to settle the dispute. Fajardo keeps swearing at them and insisted that he wants both the cashier and the manager to get fired as he claims he knows people in politics. He also demanded that he will only forgive them if the cashier would kneel before him.
THE CONTROVERSIAL FORCED KNEEL
He also reportedly uttered cuss words and got angry because the Duty Free people did not know him.
The petition claims that Fajardo said this: “”Mga leche kayo! Hindi niyo ako kilala? Ako si Boyet Fajardo! At itong p…ina na babaeng ito[You Morons! You don’t know me? I’m Boyet Fajardo!…And this Son of a Bi**h] (pointing to a lady officer) at ang baklang ito[and this faggot] (pointing to the cashier) ay walang kwentang mga tao![are nothing!] I want them fired!!!”
Fajardo was said to be unstoppable as he continued his yelling and scolding until he said he would be satisfied only if the cashier kneels down before him and/or allow him to slap the cashier’s face.
The cashier, who is said to be a casual employee, knelt down with tears in his eyes and apologized to Fajardo. The fashion designer did not slap the cashier.
Duty Free Management has already formed a committee that will formulate general procedures and guidelines in handling customers like Fajardo. *
This is such an act like Universe beyond proper breeding! This should be a wake-up call. Filipinos are too proud that sometimes it goes beyond respecting others, manipulating people, and egotistic kind of person. This is not right, and even so I am a Filipino too, I will never tolerate this kind of behaviour and I will answer for the Boycott call too. By the way, his labels includes “Boyet Fajardo”, “Initials”, and “Substance”. Supporting his creations supports evil and discrimination.
