Just because a person spends money on an expensive handbag doesn’t mean that they don’t also support charitable causes. People slay me talking about what they’d do if they had millions, not realizing that if everyone just gave a few dollars here and there, you wouldn’t need a millionaire to come along and ‘save the day’. when EVERYONE (not just the millionaires) share the load, it isn’t so heavy.

candy and fast food are luxuries to poor people too. but do you think the average person is going to deny themselves these treats just because someone else can’t afford them?

I agree. Although, I reckon people from other side of the world that spends like that haven’t seen real poverty, that’s why. We can’t blame them, they grew up in that environment just like how a poor person does not know how is it to be rich. Each to their own.

I think these bags are really sick and in a world where people have to go hungry and homeless the money people spend on these silly extravagances could be used to help others and make a real difference – I would certainly get more gratification from helping provide food and shelter for somebody or donating the money to a good cause like saving the rain forests or helping to find a cure for incurable diseases than buying a handbag. Obviously the people who buy this stuff have nothing better to do with their money or have such low self esteem they need this on their arm to prove something……I just don’t get it
