(On to my 2nd drink…)

I know I will be blogging about this, why not? I enjoyed our company party!  May 5th 2012 – when TravelClick celebrated it’s 1st Year Anniversary, I am lucky to be part of it and got Classique Fondue Catering.com to officially serve the event’s food (kudos for mom and Chef Andy Gopez!)

Again, straight from work (just like the wall climbing stunt) I dropped by my boarding house to pick up some clothes, coordinated with the catering staff, then to the party venue.  When I arrived there, TL Van and his bf, Yana, Tan-Tan and Nicko working on the theme of the party, salute to Yana and TL Van because the venue turned out to be an awesome place to party that night.  I helped them out a little since the catering staff is still on their way (just a little).

The catering was a little bit chaotic, but after the food was served, everything started to be a lot of fun!  I wasn’t a party animal, I don’t smoke and I usually don’t drink, but there I came in Thailand more than a year ago and learned how to party the first time.  It did not sink in much, several attempts to go partying in the Philippines and even in Bali, it didn’t work.

What happened in TravelClick’s party?  We did have a cool mobile bar, they mixed yummy cocktails that I enjoyed. Guess what? I have had 5 different cocktails that night, it got me dancing, non-stop photo shoot from the free photo booth, and joining silly games.  Nicko said, “I’m proud of you getting out of your shell!”, I thought it was really fun and why the hell I am not enjoying it then.

Hmmm, I guess I have few theories on how to enjoy parties for the newbies like me:

  • Make sure you’re with interesting and cool people you get along well
  • Have a drink or two or as much as you can handle (don’t end up as a mess, it won’t be fun)
  • Dance when you feel like dancing!
  • Join some silly games you guys can think of

So far, those list I have above is working, I noticed that if I am with the coolest people that I’m comfortable hanging out with, it’s hell of a fun party.  I wish it could have been better in Bali’s Sky Garden.

  1. You should do it more often if you enjoy it, if I should ever come back to the Pinas we have to go out together I’m quite good with having fun out 🙂

    1. Awesome! Where are you at the moment? I’ll be going out of Pinas soon, maybe we’ll meet somewhere and see how we can make that place crazy! haha! Be safe always and have fun!

  2. Normally I don’t learn article on blogs, however I would like to say that this write-up very compelled me to take a look at and do so! Your writing style has been amazed me. Thank you, quite nice article.
