Have you ever wondered why in the world underarm darkens?  Most people that suffer from discoloration of underarms will do everything to whitens it.  What they did not know is that there are simple causes of everyday habits they formed that made their underarms darker.

Melanin is the substance in our skin that determines the color of our skin.  People with more melanins appear darker and fairer otherwise.  However, Melanin is also our skin’s protection from the harmful effect of the UV rays.  The darker your skin is, the more melanin you have.

Yet, there are cases of fair skinned people with dark underarms which is caused by bad habits or being unaware of stuff.

FRICTION- The frequent rubbing of the skin can cause irritation causing it to turn reddish at first and then black.  What are the most common causes of this?

Frequent Shaving- Shaving removes not only the hairs but also shed most of the outer layer of the skin.  Rest your underarm from shaving for a week or so, the next thing you’ll notice when you next shave is how whiter your underarm than it was.

Wearing Tight Clothes All The Time- Frequent rubbing of the tight clothes to your underarm can also darken your skin.  Underarms are one of those most sensitive skin all over the body (including wrists, neck, back of the knee, side ankles, face, and bikini areas).  Just notice the soft tissue areas and you yourself can notice the sensitive areas of your skin.

Deodorants-  It is not necessarily mean that your deo makes your underarm darker, it is the regular contact and friction of deo to your skin.  Plus, the fact that most deodorants are just chemical based with harmful ingredients that reacts to your sensitive underarm skin.  Try using organic deodorants and avoid harsh rubbing of deo to your skin, be gentle to your skin.

Friction is the most common cause of underarm discoloration that you don’t know you were doing everyday in different forms causing you problems and costing you money to do everything just to whiten it.  Just always be aware of how you treat your skin.

I am not here to discuss about Iridology, I just want to share my experience undergoing health consultation through Iridology.  I heard about this years ago when I was in college.  Lately, I am feeling unhealthy and I keep postponing going to a doctor.  When I did the other day,  they ask me to come back ( I went to the government hospital) because they only do mornings for consultation.

I could not come back as it is quite far from where I live.  Just a while ago, after a visit to the church I walked along an Iridology center, Osaka.  I asked how much for consulatation fee and to my surprise it is so affordable!  Php 125.00 ($2.50USD) for consultation, I have to come back because I have no money left in my pocket.

I came back after few minutes, it was easy.  I filled up the form, put me in the eye machine where they took photos of both my iris and magnify it to find out what health issues I have.  She told me everything.  She said, your eyes tell me that you are experiencing severe migraines lately, that I also lack sleep and stressed out, that I’m always having dysmenorrhea every month, high acid levels in my gut,  and a really weak heart(heart burns, palpitations, shortness of breath).

I did not say anything, but all were true.  I told her after the consultation that my whole left part of my body is always numb and shaky,  which does not allow me to drive manual cars anymore because of my shaky legs.  She said, the left numbness is caused by the weak heart.

She focused on my heart problems giving me herbal medications and diet, it is her major concern according to her.  Although, the herbal medications cost a lot (they quoted me Php 6,540 or $142USD for a month supply).  Not bad hey…  I reckon it is very effective.

In our everyday life, we try to understand how the world works, how people react to things, how to relate and live our lives as good as we can. Patience and Humility were the hardest lessons I have to learn, believe me it feels like the world is falling apart the moment you got hit to finally mark it to your soul.

Most people call it, wisdom.  It is better heard than to experience, but the experience is the thing that teach us what we have to learn.  It does not mean that we learn two things in our lives and we’re all set…  It’s not.  We keep learning everyday of our lives, that is our purpose.

Letting go is another challenge.  Easy to say that we have let go something or someone we should, but to really mean it takes a while and effort emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.  The universe has its own magical force to recreate all these, imperfect it may seem but that way it is perfect.

No matter how you think that you can’t, sooner or later you will…  because you have to, your fate will push you to.  No one can control the universe, it will give us back what we have given it.

Stick to neutral, ash and beige bases when choosing a hair color.

Warm Skin Tones and Their Hair Colors

People that fall into Warm Skin Tone category usually have brownish skin with pink  or golden undertone, pale with peach or gold undertones, freckled, and ruddy.  Their distinguishing eye colors are golden brown, green, turquoise, hazel with gold or brown flecks.  Due to their naturally fair and white skin, their natural hair colors are natural blonde, red, gray blonde, and naturally highlighted hairs.

Best Warm Skin Tone Hair Colors

As to the reason that warm skin toned people are naturally gifted with lighter hair color,  most hair color you use will absolutely turn the color into a very clear shade the way you want it without bleaching your hair.  Best hues are dark, warm browns, chestnuts, rich golden browns and auburn, warm gold and red highlights, golden blond shades look best on you!  Any orange based hair color with suits you.  Highlight with golden blondes,copper streaks, golden brown shades to spice up your look… Orange, copper blonde are the best color on the runway for this skin toned models.

Now that you know more about skin tones, you are more ready to find your hair color suitable for you.  The trick is that, stay on the colors that is in line with your skin tone.  Cool Hair Tones for Cool Skin Tones, and Warm Hair Tones to Warm Skin Tones.  Experts may have tried other colors on different skin tones but they are the experts that still follow the basic rules!  Meaning, they mix some base colors that will suit their client’s skin tone on whatever color they’re might be using.  So, if you like trying other skin tone colors, consult your hair experts for advice!

Aside from Nicole Farhi’s Fall Collection 2010, Matthew Williamson’s Collection for Fall 2010 is my other bet.  Skirts are definitely in this season, from the high waisted bottoms, the trend is adapting to the skirt trend…Tulip high waisted or pencil skirts are in.  Florals are hit this season as well, but Williamson’s creativity deviates the cliche trends to his own.

He innovated the florals into colorful prints that shows the same effect, perfect for people like me who are not into florals.  The colors are in contrasts, like bright colors aren’t too bright but only to add life to the pieces…accessory to the item.

After the New York Fashion Week Fall 2010, fashionistas are on going to London for the London Fashion Week 2010 Fall Collections.  I have few bets for the London Fashion Week though…

One of them is the elegant collection of Nicole Farhi.  Simply elegant is the theme, floral prints were executed simply beautiful and colors are combined to produce chic and classy style.  Not to mention the leggings are in since last last year’s revival of 80’s fashion which is perfect to every chic colored pieces.

Stones and fabrics are well selected.  Simple yet chic, that is what real chic means anyway…  See for yourself how beautiful Farhi’s work are!

In Fashion Industry, most of us think that everyone are snobs and just all about  glamour and fame.  It was.  That is where the class division started, when something’s cannot be enjoyed by everyone but only privileged ones.  Expensive clothes and shoes from well known designers all over the world are being sold for unbelievable prices that only A-Listers and Hollywood celebrities can afford.

Those are their league of rich men and women who earns a lot of money that you would not think a normal person could have finish spending.  The  income of the designers whenever they have made a simple piece of cloth into a masterpiece on the runway, into a collection, then it will be sold at thousands or million dollars per piece is outrageously unbelievable.

The catch is, Fashion Designers are not all snobs and careless people.  Most of them knows how to give back and still have the heart for our unfortunate brothers and sisters.  They are what we called, Fashion Designers with Heart!  Some of them started from scratch as well, just like how a gown started from a rag.

Who would not recognize the stars of Twilight series? Twilight Star on Fashion Shoot – Ashley Greene is now featured here at my blog.  Yes, Edward and Bella has struck the heart of not all just young generations but older as well.  The romantic Twilight series has been brought to the cinemas and caused more sales to the Twilight books.  Not surprising really, although its a chick flick type of movie it does not matter!  They top the charts and competes with the Harry Potter series and Lord of the Rings Trilogy!

I know not everyone would agree but stats shows that they are topping the charts as well, my favorite is Harry Potter but I must admit, Twilight series has captured the young hearts of the generation that brought them to the top.

New York Fashion Week Fall 2010 Collection has started and fashion for Fall/Winter is now flooding the runway to show to the fashionistas planning their wardrobe this fall.  For the first few designers who have shown their masterpieces on the runway in New York, Peter Som is one of my favorites this season.

Peter Som’s Collection are colorful and eye-catching pieces, the Hippie Clothing inspiration add an appeal to each and every matches shown on the catwalk.  From clothing, make-up, and accessories.  Floral and colors became alive this fall against the dull cliché colors of the season.  Peter Som experimented with the color effects and succeeded to produce an awesome collection.

I am a sucker of Hippie Clothing Style as well as hippie accessories, so this is one of my favorites! Check them out too.
